Uninterrupted electricity supply during Iftar, Sehri

March 22, 2023 00:00:00

The holy month of Ramadan, which bears special significance to every Muslim, is just around the corner. It is going to be observed in March, one of the warmest months in Bangladesh. Despite this, many places in Bangladesh, especially rural areas are now facing load shedding on a regular-basis. If this continues, how would religious Muslims observe their fasting?

Power outage is the last thing the fasting people would want during the holy month of Ramadan. To create a soothing environment for them, the authorities concerned should ensure uninterrupted power supply during this month, particularly during Sehri, Iftar and Taraweeh prayers across the country.
