Victory remained an illusion

It seems that Bangladesh National Cricket Team has been passing a bad patch as it has also squandered the golden opportunity to win against its illustrated opponent Sri Lanka. There is not much solace for the supporters of Bangladesh Cricket Team.

Sri Lankan players had shown some brilliant performances and proved again that good fielding can make a team winner. Despite most spirited efforts of the Bangladeshi bowlers in the first innings, the Tigers fell short as the Lankan produced one of the most remarkable comebacks in One-Day International cricket. Bangladesh team had an opportunity to win the match but in the middle of the innings they lost their way. Bangladeshi supporters will remember this game for a long time as the players were so close to victory. I hope the Tigers will forget this defeat and achieve victory in the next matches.
