Vogue says Queen Elizabeth II among world's most glamorous

LONDON, Nov 6 (AFP): Queen Elizabeth II has been named alongside supermodels Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell-and her screen alter-ego Helen Mirren-as one of the world's most glamorous women by British Vogue magazine.
The style bible said in its December "glamour" edition that the 81-year-old monarch was "as glamorous in her brogues and headscarf in Balmoral (her Scottish Highland retreat) as she is wearing the crown jewels".
"Glamour is about how you wear something, not about what you wear," it added, identifying the queen's "USP"-or unique selling point-as her jewels.
Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren, 62, who played her in director Stephen Frears' film "The Queen", was praised for her poise and being as "radiant as a lightbulb, sexy and talented... she dresses perfectly, too".
