WC Cricket fever

The World Cup Cricket is only three weeks away and everyone is waiting impatiently for this mega event to commence. Cricket is now the most popular game in our country as our national team tasted sweet success recently.  Even a couple of decades ago, it was a game of the elites in our country. Now it has emerged as a game of the common people as well who throng the stadiums in large numbers to watch cricket. Kids are seen playing cricket even in a remote village which testifies to cricket's burgeoning popularity in our country. The whole country will be in the grip of a cricket fever soon.

We have a strong domestic league where most of the matches are keenly contested. Surely Bangladesh cricket team has matured over the years and we look forward to their exciting performance in the upcoming WC. Bangladesh will face Afghanistan in their first group match and it will be a crucial one.  A solid start will give the Tigers much needed confidence for the rest of the tournament. I am eagerly waiting for the WC and hope it will fulfil the expectations of the cricket lovers all over the world with a tournament full of thrill and action.
