The World Cup Cricket 2015 is coming close to a thrilling finale. Only three matches are left before we know who will be the new champions. India, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand are the teams which compete at the final stage. This World Cup will be remembered for more reasons than one. The highest individual score of Martin Guptil, the New Zealander, against  the West Indians and the record number of four consecutive centuries by Kumar Sangakkara of Sri Lanka are a few of the records that are unlikely to be broken in many years to come. For us, we achieved a lot to be proud of our team's performance. The spirited performance of the Bangladesh team not only won the hearts of millions of Bangladeshis, but also of the sport lovers around the globe. The Tigers have come back home amid cheers and a warm welcome. The Tigers will now be looked upon as a power to reckon with across the cricketing world. We hope the Tigers will keep up their good performance in the coming matches against the visiting Pakistan team. It will be a big challenge for the Tigers to perform well against powerhouse Pakistan and prove that the success of the world cup was not a flash in the pan. A good team needs consistency in its performance and we want our team to do consistently well against all opponents. Playing one or two good series will not put them at par with the top teams of the world. I hope, the Bangladesh Cricket Board takes cognizance of the fact and draws up a master plan so that we are able to carry on with the spirit that we demonstrated in CWC 2015.
