WC football: most anticipated sports extravaganza

The world cup football is around the corner although it will be held far away from our country and our national team does not even come close to it. However, we have no dearth of enthusiasm about it. For me the most important thing about 2014 is surely the world cup football and it is only a few days away.  I am a Brazil fan and I have high confidence in them and as the world cup is going to be held in their land, they have a greater chance of winning it since home-crowd support will encourage them to play their best game.

This month-long extravaganza will steal the attention of the football crazy world and of course we are no exception. In Bangladesh we find Brazil and Argentina have the greatest followings and the war between these two sides have already created a buzz in social media and soon it will be more widespread. It is interesting to know that the previous four World Cups staged in South America were all won by South American teams! The World Champions will receive US $35 million, while the losing finalists will receive US $25 million. For me no sport tournaments can get bigger than world cup football and last time Spain stole the show and this time I hope the host will dazzle the world with their mesmerizing football and prove once again that they have no competitors when it is about mixing football with skill, beauty and grace.
