Weak ACC & disappointed people

The Anti-corruption Commission (ACC) has found no foul play in the Padma Bridge project. No wonder!

The common people didn't expect that ACC would find anything. Due to their inactive role we see that the country's corruption graph is rising day by day. Bangladesh is not a poor country by any standard but due to unlimited corruption of few, the majority of the people are deprived of their rights and it is sad.  The present government drew a lot of criticism from home and abroad due to the allegation of corruption in Padma bridge project. Because of the allegation of corruption, the World Bank asked the government to investigate into the matter but the government's half-hearted approach didn't satisfy the World Bank and they cancelled the loan.

If the ACC were stronger, no one would have dared think of corruption. But now in our country, the corrupt people are being rewarded instead of punished and it is encouraging other to join the bandwagon of corruption.
