What's stopping varsity exams?

October 04, 2020 00:00:00

University campuses have turned into ghost towns. Neither students nor teachers in general look happy with teaching and learning online in view of their discrepancies. Some institutions have to drop online classes as they could not find adequate number of students because they lost their initial enthusiasm in the face of difficulties. Also, the classes are not so effective.

Some institutions have also failed to take into consideration the interest and capacity of the students and their families while others could not set proper goals of learning from online classes. However, in most cases, there has been no effective method for holding examination for completing a semester.

So, the students worried about completing their academic year and beginning their career. Almost everything is open in Bangladesh except educational institutions. In such a situation, hundreds of thousands of university students like us are living in anxiety over how we will be able to complete our studies. Since the university students are adult, there could be examinations for them by maintaining health protocols. There could be creative arrangement as well for solving this problem.
