The Tigers have won the second one-day international against Zimbabwe comfortably and the spectators watched a match with many exciting moments and they enjoyed it thoroughly as in the end the home team won it. The Tigers could not capitalize their brilliant opening stand of 158 and gathered only 251 in their stipulated 50 overs. But the Bangladeshi bowlers proved it sufficient and guarded it masterfully. A victory always gives us courage and confidence to move ahead.
Prior to the Zimbabwe series the Tigers had a horrible time and nothing was going right for them. Suddenly with one series everything started to change. Tamim Iqbal, Shakib, Musfiqur and Mortaza found their rhythm and brought Bangladesh back to the winning way. The World cup cricket is only a couple of months away and Bangladesh must take preparation from now. This time, the tournament will be held in Australia and New Zealand and we will find fast and bouncy pitches which assist fast bowlers. Bangladesh will play in the pool A along with cricket giants like England, Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka. But we will also face minnows like Scotland and Afghanistan. The WC commences on 14th February 2015 and I hope the Tigers will continue their good work in this mega event as well.
