World Cup cricket excitement

The year 2015 is in and as a fan of the Tigers, I want to leave behind the successes and failures of the last year and hope for another year of glorious success. 2014 was a good year for our national cricket team. Now that the next world cup cricket is only a few weeks away and excitement already hitting the air, I sincerely hope that the mega event will be an event for us to remember for a long time. I would love to see high quality batting display complemented by fiery fast bowling and hope this World Cup will be a great treat to watch. Nothing is more exciting than seeing the fast bowlers charging towards batsmen and breaking their wickets. I also look forward to seeing the final 15-member squad of Bangladesh team and hope that Bangladesh Cricket Board will select the best possible team so that they can achieve best results for our team.

The one-and-a-half month long extravaganza starts from 14th February of this year. In all 49 matches will be played in Australia and New Zealand and the final will take place in the historic Melbourne cricket ground (MCG). The world cup cricket is growing increasingly popular and the excitement around any cricketing event is more pervasive than ever before. It is time, performance of the team be consistent with the popularity the game enjoys in this country. We all hope, the Tigers will bring more laurels for us and come back with flying colours.
