Congratulations to team Australia! What a terrific performance by it in the World Cup 2015. Australia dominated the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, except for the group tie against New Zealand. Two most qualified teams Australia and New Zealand played robust cricket since they initiated their WC journey. Australians beat the Black Caps by 6 wickets in the final and did not give a semblance of a chance to New Zealand to outwit them. New Zealand had many colourful moments in this tournament that enhanced its ability in the international arena. Australia adorned the cricket history with its all conquering yellow colour and grabbed the title for a record fifth time. No other country has earned the title for more than two times. Brazilian football team which co-incidentally has yellow as its jersey colour, had the distinction of winning world football crown for the 5th time. The performance of Bangladesh cricket team in this tournament, to be honest, exceeded our expectations. For the first time Bangladesh reached the knockout stage and could possibly have progressed further. Our glorious attempt to climb higher was aborted by some unfortunate umpiring errors. But I think, the lessons of Bangladesh-India match will sharpen our determination to do better in the coming World Cups. Let us not be daunted by one defeat.
