Airtel, StanChart enter strategic partnership

Bharti Airtel recently announced that it has entered a strategic partnership with Standard Chartered Bank in Bangladesh and signed a MoU with the bank at Airtel's Gulshan office in the city.
As part of this agreement, the country's fastest growing mobile operator Airtel will work with Standard Chartered to offer the bank's platinum credit card holders chance to receive free BlackBerry handsets alongwith Airtel postpaid connection with zero line rent.
Apart from this, Standard Chartered credit card holders will also be eligible to receive the Airtel postpaid connection with zero line rent free of cost. With this, Airtel and Standard Chartered will offer an exciting proposition for their customers.
Abhay Seth, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Airtel Bangladesh Ltd and Gitanka Datta, Head of Cards, Standard Chartered Bank signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.
