Asian Int'l Trade Expo begins in city from July 7

Conference & Exhibition Management Services Limited-USA (CEMS-Global USA) in association with CEMS- Bangladesh is going to hold its 5th Asian International Trade Expo 2012 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre.
The 7- day long expo will be held from July 10 with over 100 exhibitors from 20 countries of the world.
CEMS-Bangladesh President and Group Managing Director Meherun N. Islam at a press conference on Wednesday at VIP Lounge of the National Press Club said CEMS-Global USA has launched a series of exhibitions. She said the latest Asian International Trade Expo is going to showcase all products/services from Asian countries.
GM, Marketing Ahbab Ahmed Sobhan, Group Director of Global Operation -SS Sarwar and GM-Marketing & Operation (South Asia) Abhishek Das were present at the press briefing.
Ms. Islam said the exhibition will revolve within Asian nations and the next shows are scheduled to be held in other Asian countries in coming years.
She revealed the consumer based line of products that would be exhibited in the expo are consumer electronics, communication technology machinery, food and beverage, health care products and services, personal care& beauty products, household products, fashion and accessories and arts and crafts.
She said for a good fair Tk10 to 15 million is required. The previous expo was successful as they got good response from the visitors in the expo and there is repeated interest from the participants who tookpart in the first expo organized by CEMS- Bangladesh.
Commerce Minister Ghulam Muhammad Quader as chief guest, American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh President Aftab Ul Islam and Foreign Investors' Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Syed Ershad Ahmed are likely to be present in the opening ceremony on July 10.
