Bank Asia gets new DMDs

Mr Irteza Reza Chowdhury and Mr Mohammed Roshangir have been promoted to the post of deputy managing directors (DMDs) of Bank Asia Limited recently, said a press release. Prior to their promotion, Mr Irteza Reza Chowdhury was the senior executive vice president (SEVP) and Head of International Division of the bank, while Mr Mohammed Roshangir was the SEVP and Zonal Head of Chittagong. Mr Chowdhury joined Bank Asia in 1999 and was promoted to different significant positions for his devotion and sincerity. Before joining Bank Asia, Mr Chowdhury served the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (overseas) Ltd. in Dhaka, Bangladesh and Beijing, China and Union Bank of Gambia, Kitwe, Lusaka in various capacities. Mr Chowdhury is also the joint secretary of Association of Bankers Bangladesh and General Secretary of SWIFT Users Group Bangladesh. Mr Roshangir joined Bank Asia in 2005 and served the bank in various capacities. Before joining Bank Asia, Mr Roshangir also served the National Bank Limited and Gulf Overseas Exchange Co. LLC, Oman and Dhaka Bank Limited for several years.
