The BRAC University Business Club (BIZ BEE) has announced the second edition of ADwiz, its flagship inter-university advertising competition, inviting students from universities across Bangladesh to showcase their creativity, strategic thinking, and storytelling through real-world marketing challenges.
Since its launch in 2017, ADwiz has established itself as a platform where aspiring marketers, advertisers, and creative strategists can apply classroom knowledge to practical business scenarios. Organised by BIZ BEE, the competition aims to bring together more than 1,000 teams from over 50 universities nationwide, encouraging innovation and collaboration in the field of advertising and brand communication. The competition carries a total prize pool of Tk 3,50,000.
The competition will be conducted in three rounds. In the opening stage, participating teams will create a 60-second Online Video Commercial (OVC) based on a structured brief and publish it on the team leader's public Facebook profile along with a written explanation. Entries will be judged on creativity, originality, clarity of message, and adherence to the competition guidelines.
Teams advancing to the second round will face a two-part challenge. The top 20 OVCs (online video commercials) will be featured on the official BIZ BEE Facebook page, where audience engagement will contribute to the evaluation process. Shortlisted teams will then receive a business case and develop a strategic solution that aligns with their initial campaign, allowing judges to assess their analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and conceptual alignment.
The competition will conclude with a final round on August 20, featuring the top five teams. Finalists will receive a new case challenge and produce a fresh advertising campaign and OVC, with judging based on originality, strategic relevance, execution quality, communication, and overall impact.
ADwiz 2.0 aims to strengthen students' ability to transform business concepts into compelling visual narratives while enhancing their understanding of brand management, strategic communication, and data-driven decision-making.
BIZ BEE, one of BRAC University's most active student organisations, has a track record of running large-scale national competitions, including case competitions organised in partnership with corporate bodies such as HSBC. ADwiz has remained one of its flagship initiatives, reflecting the club's broader mission of preparing students for leadership roles in business and communication.
Registration for ADwiz 2.0 is now open and will remain open until July 09. Preliminary rounds are expected to begin in mid-July, with the final round scheduled forAugust 20 at BRAC University. Participants are encouraged to follow BIZ BEE's official channels for registration and updates regarding the event timeline.
