BTB holds folk festival in city

A day-long folk festival organised by Bangladesh Tourism Board (BTB) was held on the premises of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel Tuesday with much enthusiasm and jubilation to portray Bangladeshi culture, tradition and heritage before the foreign guests. Board Chairman and Civil Aviation and Tourism Secretary-in-charge Shafique Alam Mehdi inaugurated the festival in the morning. Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation Chairman Hemayet Uddin Talukder, head of ICC media and communications Colin Gibson and International Cricket Council (ICC) media support manager Sylvia Fernandes, among others, were also present on the occasion. - FE Report
