Organisers and guests after the finale of Career Clinic 2018 at East West University

Career Clinic 2018, organised by East West University Business Club, came to an end on January 27. This event was organised in two parts. On January 24, they had the industry overview and panel discussion session and they got positive responses from the students. Student engagement throughout the session was way beyond expectations. At the beginning of the event they had a chief guest among them who introduced the students with the basic ideas of each industry. On the panel discussion session there were six reputed persons from six different companies and six different industries. They shared their views about different sectors with the students. There was also a question and answer session where students asked about their confusions and fears. The platform worked as a bridge between the students and the corporates. Both sides were really enthusiastic and thrilled during the whole session.

On January 27, they had the mock interview session which was the main attraction of this event. In this session, 24 renowned companies from 11 different industries were present to take the mock interviews. Around 300 undergraduate and fresh graduate students participated in this programme. The programme started at 10 am with the mock interview session. The closing ceremony was held after the lunch. They had three very significant persons from the corporate world as their guest speakers.

The first guest speaker was the CEO and lead consultant of Grow n Excel, M Zulfiquar Hussain. He inspired the students with his presentation about how the students should develop themselves and the qualities that the employers search at the time of recruitment.

Later on, the students enjoyed the presence of the CEO of Zero Gravity Ventures Limited, Zeeshan Kingshuk Huq who taught the students three required hacks to improve their skills and told them the importance of setting their goals. He also suggested the students to believe in their choices. He answered various questions of the students.

After that, the students were delighted to have the presence of the manager of Digital Advertising, Digital Service at Robi Axiata Limited, Sanjid Hossain. He told the students how much competitive this world is and how they should improve their knowledge every day. He also said that on this advance moving world, students should update themselves with new information and expand their job opportunity beyond the border of the country. He encouraged the students to expand their knowledge in order to get desired jobs.

In a nutshell, Career Clinic 2018 was successful by providing the students a better knowledge about their career and creating a platform for them where they could evaluate themselves.
