Corporate leaders share tips for success

In this era, the competition of the market is so intense that without having the exact knowledge of product, market and customers, it is quite impossible to sustain in the market with any business. To cut through the intense complexity of developing business, United International University (UIU) Marketing Forum-- a wing of UIU Counselling Centre, organised Market Mantra- Season One, on December 23, 2017. More than 200 participants were present at the event.

The objective of the forum is to develop an exclusive network of marketing students of UIU and relationship with marketing leaders of Bangladesh. Market Mantra- Season One was designed as marketing conference for training and knowledge sharing for inter-university marketing enthusiastic students and young professionals.

The conference has covered up every nook and corner of modern marketing challenges and strategies to solve them. Five accomplished marketing leaders working in renowned organisations were invited to cast their unique perspectives on the stage. To discuss 'The Battlefield: Building Your Brand', Shahriar Amin, national sales manager, Philip Morris Bangladesh Limited joined Market Mantra. Jane Alam Romel, group chief marketing officer, IDLC Financing Happiness, conducted the session 'Chronology of Digital Marketing in Bangladesh'. Galib Bin Mohammad, head of marketing, Arla foods Bangladesh Limited took the floor to discuss 'Changing Facades of Branding'. Surayya Siddiqua, head of marketing and communication, International Consumer Products, conducted the session 'Understanding your customers and placing your brand'. Kamrul Hassan, chief executive officer, Igloo, joined Market Mantra to discuss 'Sustainable brand development'.

All the speakers discussed the opportunities that are prevailing right now. Organisations are searching for executives at home with modern business tactics to capitalise on the differentiation sensitive market.

The speakers discussed how the next generation's marketing executives need to achieve some sophisticated credentials to triumph over the diversified and fiercely competitive world of marketing. Market Mantra has been outstanding in the way it paved the participants the knowledge they require to establish themselves in the future.
