Ericsson, one of the pioneers of telecommunication world, this year selected Mermaid Eco Resort at Pechar Dwip, Cox's Bazar as the place of their team building as a part of employee development and improving inter-personal relationships of Ericsson Bangladesh Project Office.
Ericsson has been operating in Bangladesh for more than 12 years. Project Office is the department of Ericsson which plays a vital role in the business of the organization and known for creating leaders in corporate world. Ericsson had chosen Mermaid for their environmental consciousness philosophy of responsible sustainable eco-tourism. In addition, as a part of corporate social responsibility Project Office decided to organize their team building in an eco-friendly environment.
The department head of Ericsson Bangladesh Project Office Shafiqul Amin Bhuiyan said, "Mermaid is a quite and calm place where you can enjoy the beauty of true nature with hospitality and can work with more concentration and deliberation which is a basic need to ensure an effective team building".
