ESARBP holds seminar

EU Switch Asia Re-Tie Bangladesh Project (ESARBP) organised a seminar on "Best Idea Award (BIdA)" at the Bangladesh College of Leather Engineering and Technology (BCLET) auditorium at Hazaribagh in the city recently, said a press release. The implementing partners of the project in Bangladesh are Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), Bangladesh Finished Leather, Leathergoods and Footwear Exporters' Association (BFLLFEA), and Bangladesh Tanners' Association (BTA). Assistant Professor of Bangladesh College of Leather Engineering and Technology (BCLET) of the seminar Subur Ahmed was present at the seminar as the chief guest. Local coordinator of the project Shariar Shaams, UNIDO International Expert Selanec Srdjan, Sabine Sibler and Markus Schoefthaler, bfz Germany, UNIDO Head of Operation Bangladesh Zaki Uz Zaman and Assitant Secretary DCCI Rehana Akter Ruma were present on the occasion. Ownersmanagement of tanneries and leather product industries, representatives from other stakeholders of the project, government officials, policy makers, faculty and students of BCLET and national and international project officials took part at the workshop.
