The 'Bangladesh Youth Photography Exhibit Season 2' concluded with resounding success, marking it as the premier photography and artwork event of the year. Held at the Liberation War Museum Bangladesh, the exhibition showcased seven diverse segments, including photography, cinematography, short film, poster creation, sketch exhibit, photography quiz, and the national artwork competition, attracting a global submission of over 5,500 entries. Held on February 09 and 10, 2024, the two-day extravaganza invited enthusiasts to partake in a visual experience at the Civic Centre, Liberation War Museum Bangladesh, Dhaka.
The inaugural day witnessed the unveiling of the national artwork competition and the photography exhibition, drawing notable guests such as cartoonist, doodler graphic novelist Syed Rashad Imam Tanmoy, and content creator Khalid. The following day saw a bustling gallery with approximately 1,000-2,000 attendees, where the photography exhibition continued alongside the photography quiz, while short film & cinematography took centre stage. The presence of guests like content creator Mashfiq Enam Turjo, content creator Md Abdullah Bhuiyan, and filmmaker and content creator Jubaer Talukder added an extra layer of excitement to the event.
In recognition of the exemplary talent and dedication of the winners, all participants, volunteers, and campus directors were bestowed with certificates of appreciation. The champions were celebrated with certificates of achievement, crests, and an array of prizes, underscoring the commitment to nurture and promote creative talents. In closing, the 'Bangladesh Youth Photography Exhibit Season 2' stands tall as a testament to the collective dedication of event organisers, volunteers, and all stakeholders involved. With 21 winners across seven categories, including photography (mobile), DSLR photography, sketch, photography quiz, cinematography, short film, and art competition, the event has left an indelible mark on the creative landscape of Bangladesh.
For the photography segment, Niloy Ahmed clinched victory in the mobile category, while Tanvir Hasan emerged triumphant in DSLR photography. In the sketch category, Samia Sultana showcased exceptional talent, while Junayed Kowshik claimed victory in the photography quiz. Fahim Al Mahmud's exceptional cinematography skills earned him the top spot, while Ruposh Rabbi's short film captivated audiences, earning him recognition. Finally, Romario Gomez's artwork stood out, securing victory in the art competition.
The triumph of the event can be attributed to the relentless efforts of Team Glory Photography Ltd, spearheaded by CEO Ragib Abid, ED Nabila Khan, DPR Tanvin Leon, DEV KM Raiyan, AAD Namir Ahsan, DCD Nowfel Ahmed, Admin lead Naser Hasan, and especially Tahmid Tasin, the director & founder of Glory Photography Ltd.
