Indian Micromax launches Android phone

Indian mobile handset company 'Micromax' launched Sunday an Android phone-A60 Andro, pledging to smooth people's communications.
The price of the new model handset is fixed at Tk 10,500 and it will be available across the country, the company said in a statement.
The Micromax 'A60' is an Android 2.1 device features a 7.112 cm display full touch screen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and 65K color display and is powered by a 600 MHz processor.
Apart from being user-friendly, it has varied applications including GPS for location tracking or turn-by-turn directions, WI-FI, compass, Proximity Sensor and many more for an incredible user experience.
It comes with a 3.2 MP Camera. The phone has remarkable connectivity options such as Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 bg and USB 2.0 and is supported by various sound formats like- AMR-WB, WAV, MP3, iMelody, Midi Ringtone, says the statement.
A60 Andro has accelerator sensor, which allows users to show off your content in portrait or landscape orientation with every turn. It has a 150 MB internal memory and is 32GB External Micro SD Card Supported.
