KFC opens outlet at Purana Paltan

KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken), a concern of Transcom Foods Limited, has opened its outlet at Purana Paltan in the city. Transcom Foods Executive Director Akku Chowdhury formally inaugurated the outlet in presence of celebrities and media people Friday. Addressing the guests, he said, "We're overwhelmed to open our new outlet here and become a part of Paltan. I'm sure the people of Paltan will make our effort worthwhile". The celebrities - singer Tishma, Tapu, actresses Munmun, Sharmin Lucky and Tania - present in the opening ceremony were ecstatic about new outlet at Paltan. KFC is the international chain restaurant in Bangladesh opening its flagship outlet on September 6, 2006 at Gulshan. -UNB
