Mixed reaction of participants over its outcome

Participants of the 8th international poultry show that began in the city's Bangabandhu International Conference Centre Thursday expressed mixed reaction over its outcome.
A number of entrepreneurs in the fair said they have got satisfactory response while some others said they are totally depressed due to hartals and recent political situation.
World's Poultry Science Association Bangladesh Branch (WPSA-BB) has organised the show which will conclude today (Saturday).
Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd group product manager Biplab Kumar Sen said, "We have got good response from the clients. On Friday evening a lot of visitors came to the fair but the number of visitors was poor Thursday due to hartal. However, we are satisfied."
"In this fair we have launched two new medicines namely Levucell SB and Alkosel. The first one is a pro-biotic, substituting anti-biotic, and the second will help to support growth, increase the fertility and immune system of broiler and layer chickens," Mr Sen said.
The National Feed Mill Ltd assistant commercial officer said: "I am totally depressed over the response from the visitors due to recent political unrest."
WPSA-BB President Moshiur Rahman said: "We are extremely happy with the response of visitors in the fair. Although it was dawn-to-dusk hartal Thursday, we got satisfactory response from the visitors on the day."
He said: "We are hopeful that there would be project deals worth Tk 10 billion in this fair while the amount was around 7.00 billion in 2011."
He said: "This fair will help both the new and old entrepreneurs of the poultry sector. Different local and foreign companies across the globe are displaying poultry feed, hatchery, poultry medicine, modern software, equipment and technologies here."
