NOVOAIR receives second aircraft

NOVOAIR, the newest private sector airline of the country, received second Embraer EMB-145 aircraft recently, says a press release.
The first aircraft of the airline, also an EMB-145 arrived in Dhaka recently.
NOVOAIR will start operating scheduled passenger flights on domestic routes between Dhaka and Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Jessore and Sylhet later this month.
"NOVOAIR intends to provide premium services especially designed to cater for business and leisure travelers in Bangladesh. We intend to spread our wings with commercial operation later this month, the month of our victory," Group Captain M Mofizur Rahman, afwc, psc (Retd), Managing Director, NOVOAIR said while talking to the media today at a ceremony to introduce the aircraft.
"Our fleet is currently made up of two 49-seater Embraer EMB-145 jets with advanced features and all the comforts to make your short journeys smooth, memorable and faster," he said.
EMB-145 aircraft is designed to carry 50 passengers up to a distance of 2,500 km. With the most reliable engines of Rolls Royce, the aircraft will provide passengers the fastest means of travel between destinations. US-based aircraft interior design company, C&D Interiors designed the cabin of the aircraft.
To ensure safety, the two aircraft are fitted with Honeywell Primus 1000 digital avionics suite with dual digital air data computers, dual attitude heading reference system (AHRS), terrain collision avoidance system (TCAS), ground proximity warning system (GPWS) and Global Positioning System (GPS) to ensure safety. It is capable of landing in extreme inclement weather without compromising the safety of passenger and flight. It is proven to be safest, reliable and comfortable aircraft in its category.
