Official team leaves for China

A 17-member official team is expected to leave Dhaka Saturday for china with a view to observe fish farming, good aquaculture practice and pearl cultivation there, official said. Department of Fisheries (DoF) director general Mahbubur Rahman said, the 17-member committee comprises with three members of parliament -Moslemuddin (Fulbaria), Shawkat Ali Badsha and (Bagerhat-2) Begum Noor Afroza (Shatkhira) and DoF and planning ministry officials." He said, the team will visit for 10 days there. During the visit, the team will visit different fish farms, observe the implementation of good aquaculture practice and pearl research centers of china. He added that after visiting china they will try to apply the strategy to develop the fisheries sector of the country.
