Participants at CreADive are working on a business case.

CreADive, an inter-university business communication and advertisement making competition organised by Bangladesh University of Professional's Communications Club (BUPCC), is expanding across Bangladesh for its second incarnation. The mega event is being supported by Sena Kalyan Sangstha and Trust Bank Limited. Students from any university and any background can form teams of four to participate in CreADive'15. The top three champion teams will get altogether two lac taka along with nationwide fame and recognition.

"The aim of CreADive is to encourage creativity and competitiveness among young university students. CreADive is a comparatively new competition, yet it has received appreciations from corporate elites and undergrad prodigies," said Maimuna Alam, President of BUPCC, "Last year we attracted the best talents from universities of Dhaka city. This time we are encouraging participation from teams outside Dhaka as well."

To participate in CreADive'15, students would have to form teams of four and get registered through their universities' respective clubs  which are associated with CreADive and BUPCC. There are slots for 48 teams in total from different universities all over Bangladesh.

The only criterion is that the members from same team would have to be from the same university. Students from different departments can also form cross-departmental teams as long as they are from the same university. Each and every member of the respective participating teams has to be present during all the phases of the competition.

The first round of CreADive'15 will take place in the premises of BUP on October 3, 2015. The participants will attend a workshop on the same day where they will be trained on different approaches about how to solve business cases.

Then the teams would have to solve a case and present the solution through a team presentation in front of a panel of judges. In the second round, the teams would have to develop campaigns and integrated marketing communications plan along with a TV advertisement that would support their campaign. They will again face a panel of judges who will select the top   six teams for the grand finale. In every round there will be an interesting segment called the "Curveball" in which a task will be assigned to the participants without any prior announcement.

The champion team of CreADiv'15 will receive a prize money of BDT 1,00,000 while the runner-up and second runner-up teams would receive BDT 60,000 and BDT 40,000 respectively. Sena Kalyan Sangstha is the main sponsor of the competition while Trust Bank is funding a portion of the prize money. Last year, the champion team was Team Potter from Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Dhaka University (DU) and 1st runners up team was Team Chain Chokers from IBA, DU and the 2nd runners up team was Team Maverick from Bangladesh University of Professionals.
