An Obhizatrik volunteer raising fund for the event

To help the deprived people during Ramadan, two years back in 2013 Obhizatrik Foundation initiated the project 'Joy of Giving'. The project helps deprived people by arranging iftar for them daily during the Ramadan. This time they have expanded their reach and given their utmost effort. Auspiciously, with the support of all well-wishers they have stood beside the families of 500 impoverished children. To collect fund to support the endeavour, on the International Children's Day on 1st June, 350 'Obhizatrik' volunteers took themselves to the streets at 11 points of Dhaka city to raise funds from people who find joy in giving. Despite the scorching heat and rain, the organisers and the volunteers worked all day to collect funds to make the project a reality. Fortunately, the fund Obhizatrik has managed to collect will be sufficient to reach out to all the families.
For their endeavours, Obhizatrik has got Meridian, CSR Hub and American International School of Dhaka as patrons. As the fund raising event was a success, now their indomitable spirit calls for more challenging goals to bring joy to the less privileged.
