A workshop on "BASEL-II" for the executives and officers of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited was held at its training academy in the city recently.
AIBL Managing Director MA Samad Sheikh inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest.
A total of 33 executives and officers from different levels of the head office and branches of the bank took part in the workshop.
Bangladesh Bank General Manager (Banking Regulation and Policy Department) Nobo Gopal Banik and Deputy General Manager KM Abdul Wadood were present as the speakers in the workshop.
Also present on the occasion was AIBL Senior Vice President and Principal of the training academy AKM Fazlul Hoque.
