Flexible working rights 'should be extended'

LONDON, Feb 9 (Reuters): The right to ask for flexible working should be extended to all employees to help tackle the pay gap between men and women, a committee of MPs said today.
The government should consider a "gradual extension" of the measure, the business, enterprise & regulatory reform committee said in a report.
It said a lack of quality part time jobs was one of the main reason for the persistence of the gender pay gap.
