Global Ins MD off to Cairo to attend workshop on Takaful

Global Insurance Ltd Managing Director (MD) ABM Nurul Haq left the city for Cairo to attend a specialised workshop on 'Takaful and retakaful: building linkages for infrastructure development'.
Haq will participate in the workshop to be held tomorrow (Wednesday) in Cairo in Egypt as an expert panelist.
Bank Negara Malaysia in collaboration with the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit and the Islamic Financial Services Board organised the workshop.
Haq will present a paper in the 2nd session on 'role of micro-takaful in social and economic development; sharing countries' experience in development of takaful industry'.
Global Insurance MD will also conduct the session as the panelist.
