Gulf countries most coveted destination for Nepali workers

KATHMANDU, Aug 28 (Xinhua): As many as 18,169 Nepali workers have left the country in the first month of the new fiscal year starting from mid-July, The Himalayan Times reported today.
According to the daily, due to lack of enough job-opportunities at home, around 20,000 Nepalis have been leaving the country in search of better job opportunities every month through the official channel.
Malaysia and Gulf countries are the most coveted destination for unskilled Nepali youths, according to the report.
