Iran, Vietnam ink MoU on commercial co-op

TEHRAN, Jan 2 (Xinhua): Iran and Vietnam yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the trade and economic sectors, the official IRNA news agency reported.
Iranian Commerce Minister Masoud Mir-Kazemi and visiting Vietnamese Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat inked the MoU on the second day of the fifth Iran-Vietnam Economic and Commercial Cooperation Commission meeting in Tehran.
The MoU underlines the need for expanding cooperation in the field of customs, support for joint investments, preferential tariffs as well as engineering and technical services, IRNA said.
Implementing joint ventures in dam-building, bridge construction, and cement and car-manufacturing plants are also among the provisions of the MoU, it said.
