Mexico,Canada, US to meet on free trade pact

MEXICO CITY, Aug 13 (Xinhua): Trade ministers and officials from Mexico, the United States and Canada will meet Monday and Tuesday in Vancouver, Canada, to discuss issues concerning the North America Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Mexico's Economy Ministry said yesterday.
Mexican Economy Minister Eduardo Sojo, Canadian Trade Minister David Emerson and US trade representative Susan Schwab will take part in the talks.
During the talks, the trade officials will analyse advances in the targets set at the last meeting of the NAFTA commission in the Mexican Pacific port of Acapulco, Guerrero in 2006.
They are scheduled to work out priorities for 2008 and discuss tariff relief and issues on free flow of services.
