A day-long workshop on "strategic supply-chain management for professionals" organised by the professional development programme of Moazzam Hossain School of Business, Presidency University on its campus in the city recently.
It was designed for those who are engaged in supply chain, procurement activities of any organisation. It was conducted by two renowned trainers -- GM of Ranks Petroleum Khondaker Shahan Alam and Head of Contract Administration, Supply Chain Management of Grameenphone Saiful Alam.
A group of executives from different organisations such as Rahimafrooz Distribution Ltd, UNICEF, Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Ltd, South East University, AIUB, Dhaka Rubber and Tyre Manufacturing Ltd participated in the workshop.
Registrar of Presidency University Zafrul Karim distributed certificates among the participants at a ceremony on the university campus. Other faculty members, senior officials of the university were also present on the occasion.
