Takaful Insurance earns Tk 22.6m more in 1st half

Takaful Islami Insurance Ltd earned Tk 22.6 million more in the first six months of 2007 in comparison to the corresponding period of 2006.
The 30th meeting of the board of directors of Takaful Islami Insurance Ltd was held at the head office of the company recently.
Takaful Chairman Md Fazle Azim presided over the meeting attended by all the members of the board along with Managing Director Abul Kashem Chowdhury.
The meeting discussed various issues pertaining to development of business of the company and expressed satisfaction over the progress so far made despite various constraints.
After reviewing the performance, the board took some important decisions for the guidelines for the growth of business of the company.
