All members of Delta Life Insurance Company Limited have been advised to work relentlessly for maintaining a healthy growth in business and company's leading position in the industry in the years to come.
Chairman of the board of directors of the company Syed Moazzem Hussain gave the directive while speaking as the chief guest at the annual conference-2008 of the company at Cox's Bazar recently, said a press release.
The chief guest also advised the development personnel of the company to render prompt and better services.
Managing Director of the company Das Deba Prashad presided over the conference.
The two-day conference was divided into two sessions - the first day on ordinary life and the next day on Gono-Grameen (micro-insurance) Bima.
The conference was told that the company earned total premium of more than Tk 38.70 billion during the year 2008.
The chairman also conveyed greetings to all the sales workers and officers from all over the country, who qualified to attend the conference and praised them highly for their outstanding achievement.
He also talked about honesty and transparency to ensure a clean image of the company.
In his address, the managing director made an analysis of the business performance of the previous year and outlined the future action plan for implementation through application of modem techniques to make the current year a successful one.
He also urged the development personnel to work still harder to overcome the future challenges.
About 1000 sales workers, officers and organisers of ordinary life and Gono-Grameen Bima qualified to take part in the annual conference from all over the country, the press release added.
