0.17m BO accounts opened in March

More than 1,70,000 beneficiary owners (BO) accounts were opened last month, which is the second highest record figure in a month this year, Central Depository Bangladesh Limited (CDBL) said. The new BO accounts, which were opened in March, took the total number of active BO accounts to 2.412 million on April 8 (Thursday). On March 7, the total number of active BO accounts was 2.24 million and on February 3, the figure was 2.06 million. In February last, 1,80,000 BO accounts were opened by the aspiring investors, This compares with 1,15,000 accounts in January. — FE Report
