One person was seriously injured, as a procession of the National Committee for the Protection of Oil, Gas, and Mineral Resources was attacked. The procession, demanding an end to power and water crisis, was attacked in front of Dhaka College at around 5:30pm Wednesday. S M Shahidullah claimed that a group of 20 to 25 people attacked it, smashed the megaphone and injured a few of the marchers. Md Anis, a sub-inspector of New Market Police Station, said no such incident had occurred.
