105 more workers fall sick after drinking water at Savar

SAVAR, Aug 1: About 105 more garment workers of a factory here fell sick due to food-poisoning Saturday. Locals said the workers of Pearl Garments factory at Palashbari suffered from severe pain in stomach and diarrhea in the morning after drinking water provided by the factory management. The affected workers, mostly women, were admitted to Gani General Hospital and Habib clinic. Doctors said the patients were out of danger.
