117 ‘drug traders’ die in ‘gunfights’ so far

A total of 117 suspected drug traders were killed in 'gunfights' across the country since May 12.
Twelve more were killed early Tuesday amid anti-narcotic drives of law enforcers across the country, according to UNB reports.
Identities of the drug dealers killed in the gunfights are as follows:
Cumilla -- Liton alias Kana Liton, 43, son of Abdus Samad of the Poiyapathor area; and Baten, 34, son of Sahid Miah of Bakhornagar village of Muradnagar upazila
Kushtia -- Mukaddes Ali, 42, son of Rezaul Islam of Munshiganj village; and Fazlur Rahman alias Title, 48, son of late Yakub Ali.
Dhaka -- Sumon alias Khuku Sumon, 42, in Dakhshin Khan area.
Mymensingh -- Mizan, 45, son of Nurul Islam of Dakhshin Kachina village in Bhaluka upazila.
Satkhira -- Anisur Rahman, 40, son of Surat Ali of Pakuria village in Koloroa upazila.
Thakurgaon -- Harun, 45, son of late Abdul Aziz in the Shitolpur area of Haripur upazila.
Barguna -- Firoz Mridha, 45, son of Hashem Miah of ward no 4 of Betagi Municipality.
Jashore -- two unidentified drug traders in the Chanchra Raipara area of the district town.
Brahmanbaria -- Jony Mia, 30, son of Firoz Miah of the Baganbari area in Akhaura upazila.
