14 bldgs to be built on 6 Moinul Road for army officers

The work on preparing an overall master plan is underway to construct 14 multi-storied buildings on the much-discussed 6 Moinul Road plot inside Dhaka Cantonment from where BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia was evicted to resolve housing problems of the army officers. Planning Minister AK Khandaker disclosed this Wednesday in reply to a question from Jatiya Party lawmaker Md Mujibul Haque. "Besides, a mosque will be built there. There will be other social facilities including games and sports," the planning minister added. - BSS
