31,749 Bangladeshis return from Libya so far

As many as 31,749 Bangladeshi nationals, who worked in Libya, have so far returned to Bangladesh, according to the latest report. Of them, the return of 3,692 Bangladeshi nationals has been arranged by their employers or some have returned on their own, while 25,696 have been repatriated under the coordination of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), a foreign ministry press release said. The release said about 1400 Bangladeshis are now awaiting repatriation at Ras Jdir border point of Tunisia. -BSS
