40 produced before HC board for detention extension

Forty people were produced before the High Court's (HC's) detention advisory board Thursday for a decision about whether their detention should be extended. Among the detainees were former state minister Salahuddin Ahmed and former lawmakers Mosaddek Ali Falu and Mufti Shahidul Islam. They were produced under tight security before the three-member advisory board of Justice Ali Asgar Khan, Justice Md Abdul Matin and a home ministry official.
