59,700 tonnes of rice allocated for destitutes

The government has allocated 59,700 tonnes of rice for distribution among destitute people during the current month. The allocation was made for 5,970 families, which have been rehabilitated in 597 barracks under 68 housing projects, being jointly implemented by the Chief Adviser's office, and Food and Disaster Management Ministry. — UNB
