6,000 hens culled in Manikganj

The Shibaloy upazila administration in Manikganj culled 6,000 bird-flu infected hens and 29,000 eggs at Pioneer Breeders at North Kashadah village Wednesday. Upazila Livestock Department sources said bird-flu virus was detected in sample of perished hens and eggs of Pioneer Breeders in lab test after death of hens at the farm during the last few days. - UNB
