A solar plant on a field at Shakerda in Harinakundu upazila - around 15km off the Jhenaidah district headquarters. The energy generated from the plant is used to run a water pump for irrigating adjoining paddy fields in the area. Even a few years back, the land used to lie fallow in absence of water.
