After recovery from encroachers, BIWTA has placed concrete blocks along the bank of the Turag to save it from erosion near the Amin Bazar Bridge in Dhaka. At the same time, the authority has been installing benches on the waterfront apart from a walkway for common people to hang out during leisure time.
