The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Wednesday filed a corruption case against BNP senior joint secretary general Tarique Rahman, his wife and mother in-law for concealing information in wealth statements and acquiring wealth beyond their known sources of income, reports UNB.
ACC deputy director Jahurul Huda filed the first information report (FIR) with Kafrul police station at 2:50pm against Tarique Rahman, his wife Jobaida Rahman and mother-in-law Iqbalmand Banu for acquiring wealth worth over Tk 42.3 million beyond known sources of income, which was not included in their wealth statements submitted to the Commission.
