Addl 752mw electricity by December

An additional 752-mw of electricity will be added to the national power grid by December 2009 and another 1,500-mw by December 2011. Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Subid Ali Bhuiyan informed reporters about the plans after a meeting of the watchdog body Sunday. — UNB
